The Walled Garden Presentation

4 of our pupils travelled to The Walled Garden on Thursday last week with Mrs Northover and Mr Duffy to hand over our school donation of £260.  This money was raised from the children's community coffee morning, where all classes performed on stage at The Village Hall.  Forgandenny Primary has chosen The Walled Garden as their charity of choice this year after their whole school topic of 'Positive Mental Health'. 

The children were treated to a tour of the facilities within the grounds of The Murray Royal Hospital before presenting the cheque to Janice Paterson.  The children will continue their support of The Walled Garden this term by taking donations at their Christmas performances and by one senior pupil organising a Christmas dress-up day.  We look forward to small groups of children visiting and working in the garden in the better weather.
