WW1 P6/7 Project

The Primary 6/7 class has undertaken a super project about WW1 this term which culminated in a fabulous concert at St John's Church with Dunbarney, Strathallan, Kilgraston and Craigclowan schools.

The children performed songs, which they had been practising with Mr Gooch at Strathallan each week and also performed a beautiful tableau.   We are exceptionally proud of their efforts and they confidently and capably represented our school.

During their topic they also visited the Blackwatch Museum, held a community poppy event in school and had a visit from the Mobile Military Museum.  All of which added real value to their learning.  The children used the community poppies to make a weeping display at Forgandenny Church and found out all about local men who were called to war, before singing to the local community.  Well done P6/7.  What a super project - one you will remember forever.
