Winners of the City of Culture Competition 

We are delighted to announce that Forgandenny Primary is the overall winner of the Perth City of Culture Competition as well as the P1-3 category winner.  Congratulations to all our pupils.  This is a huge achievement for the school!

The competition asked pupils to reflect on where they lived and highlight their vision for Perth 2021, giving them an opportunity to have their say in the future of their city and local area.  P1/2/3 created a video of their local area, interviewing each other about their ideas and Primary 4/5/6/7 made a detailed poster.  As the lucky winners, we will work with an artist for the day, designing artwork which will then be painted onto the side of one of the Stagecoach buses!  A fantastic prize and lovely way to promote our school in the wider community.

The video and artwork will be available to view in the school hall on our 'Sharing our Learning' afternoon on Thursday 30th March.
